Traditional heritage meets digital innovation
We developed a unique digital menu website for Ghajar Cafe, owned by Mr. Amini, using WordPress to blend traditional Persian cafe culture with modern technology. The website celebrates the rich heritage of Qajar-era cafes while providing contemporary digital menu functionality. We created an elegant design that incorporates traditional Persian patterns, calligraphy, and color schemes reminiscent of historic Iranian teahouses. The menu showcases authentic Persian beverages like traditional teas, saffron-infused drinks, and specialty coffees alongside classic cafe fare and traditional sweets. We implemented a category system that organizes items by type including hot beverages, cold drinks, traditional desserts, and light meals. The platform features beautiful photography that captures the ambiance of the cafe and the artistry of each dish. We also integrated an online ordering system that allows customers to place orders for pickup or delivery while maintaining the authentic feel of the traditional cafe experience.

Visual and typograpy hierarchy
Visual hierarchy is the principle of arranging elements to show their order of importance. Designers structure visual characteristics—e.g., menu icons—so users can understand information easily. By laying out elements logically and strategically, designers influence users’ perceptions and guide them to desired actions. Users notice larger elements more easily can convert.
