Sustainable packaging meets premium design
We designed an eco-friendly coffee bag packaging system for Ghajar Cafe, owned by Mr. Amini, that balances environmental responsibility with premium aesthetics. The bags are crafted from recyclable kraft paper with a biodegradable inner lining that maintains coffee freshness while minimizing environmental impact. We created a distinctive design featuring hand-drawn illustrations of coffee plants and Persian architectural elements that tell the story of Ghajar's commitment to quality and heritage. The bags include a tin-tie closure system that allows customers to reseal the package easily, extending the coffee's shelf life after opening. We developed a color-coded system using natural, earth-tone inks that help customers identify different coffee varieties while maintaining an organic, artisanal feel. Each bag features a transparent window made from plant-based cellulose that showcases the coffee beans inside, building trust and allowing customers to see the product quality. The design also includes detailed brewing instructions, origin stories, and QR codes linking to video content about the coffee's journey from farm to cup.

Visual and typograpy hierarchy
Visual hierarchy is the principle of arranging elements to show their order of importance. Designers structure visual characteristics—e.g., menu icons—so users can understand information easily. By laying out elements logically and strategically, designers influence users’ perceptions and guide them to desired actions. Users notice larger elements more easily can convert.
