Festive coffee packaging for Nowruz

We designed special limited-edition coffee packaging for Ghajar Cafe, owned by Mr. Amini, celebrating the Persian New Year (Nowruz). The packaging features vibrant spring colors and traditional Persian motifs reimagined in a contemporary style that appeals to modern coffee enthusiasts while honoring cultural heritage. We incorporated illustrations of Haft-Sin elements like sprouting wheat, goldfish, and spring flowers that symbolize renewal and prosperity. The bags use premium kraft paper with a matte finish and feature a custom die-cut window shaped like a traditional Persian arch, allowing customers to see the fresh coffee beans inside. We created a special Nowruz greeting message in elegant Persian calligraphy combined with modern typography that bridges tradition and contemporary design. The packaging includes a QR code linking to brewing recommendations and the story behind the special Nowruz blend. Each bag features a resealable zip-lock closure with a one-way degassing valve that preserves coffee freshness while maintaining the festive aesthetic.

By laying out elements logically and strategically, designers influence users’ perceptions and guide them to desired actions. Users notice larger elements more easily can convert.
